Justin Pahara

Justin Pahara was awarded a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of Cambridge, and has since co-founded Synbiota to revolutionize how biotechnology is created, how bio-products are commercialized, and who can get involved. As an early iGEM participant, Justin has been at the leading edge of synthetic biology for almost a decade, and has researched systems in immunology, cell biology, cancer research, bioelectronics, and nano-fabrication of solid-state materials. Justin is alumnus of Singularity University where he was a Google Fellow, and more recently a Fellow of the Mozilla Foundation’s WebFWD program, and co-founder of BricoBio – Montréal’s DIYBio community.
