Jeremy Hayes is a lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Finance and Information Systems in University College Cork and has been teaching and researching in the areas of Business Model Design and Innovation Management for the last 15 years. Jeremy has worked on research projects such as the FP6 CALIBRE project (Co-ordination Action for LIBRE software engineering for open development platforms for software and services), the IRCHSS O3C Project (Open Code, Open Content and Open Commerce) and the “Innovative Business Models for the International Energy Sector” scoping project for the International Energy Research Centre (IERC). His research is published in leading international journals and conferences.
Through training, workshops and consultancy projects, Jeremy has worked with client firms to help them innovate their business models. Organisations he has worked with include; Trend Micro, EMIT Solutions, CloudCompare, IT@Cork, Big Red Cloud, Portable Medical Technologies, CSME Engineering, Aerospace Valley Toulouse, Supply.ie, the International Energy Research Centre, the Greenshoots Entrepreneurship Programme, and the EU-funded APSAT (Actions Publique Technologies Satellitaires et Development Durable) project.
Jeremy lectures on Business Model Innovation in the Irish Management Institute (Ireland’s only internationally ranked provider of Executive Education).
