Britt Wray is a public radio producer, host, and researcher of synthetic biology. Britt produces radio documentaries, segments, and serial programs about science for broadcasters such as the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and WNYC, while hosting a music show on CBC Radio 3. Britt is trained in biology, fine arts, Science and Technology Studies (STS) and has been researching the communication and culture of synthetic biology over the last 4 years. Her esoteric background has brought her to work in TV with National Geographic, documentary film with Field Test Films (on a forthcoming feature length film about synthetic biology), and as a consultant to Synbiota (a DNA-design platform building tools that make it easier to engineer biology with).
