In Demo Day

It’s happening; IndieBio EU’s Demo Day is about to begin! As soon as the wires are taped down and the camera lenses polished, we’ll be revealing our latest session of razor’s edge biotechnology companies to the world, many of them for the first time. Our startup founders have spent three months polishing their Demo Day pitches, and today marks the culmination of that effort, and a showcase of all the other progress and traction they have achieved in that time.

The IndieBio Flag flying at Demo Day 2015To celebrate, we’re providing a bubbly reception with canapés on the grounds of the Cork Gaol Museum. We’ll be entering the West Prison Wing shortly for the stage event, with our 13 pitches and introductory speeches. Guest speakers this year are provided by the City Mayor, our Managing Partner Sean O’Sullivan, and our European Venture Partner and IndieBio founder Bill Liao.

To accommodate the many people who could not make it to the demo day and summer party in person, we’re providing the best live-stream experience we can. You’ll be able to join us for a live-stream of our stage event, professionally shot by the AV team at CAVS, and afterwards you’ll be able to join us for an un-curated (warning; also uncensored) roving live-stream of the barbecue and afters party outside via Periscope. If you stick around, you’ll even get to enjoy our closing circus act at dusk!

Getting Involved in the Demo Day

The URL for our stage livestream is: – You’ll also see us tweeting at @indbio about the event so stay tuned for updates on our afters-party livestream. If our livestream drops or we experience technical difficulties, you’ll hear about it first at @indbio.

We’d love to hear from you with your feedback, questions, or enthusiastic comments; you’ll see the action over at #IndieBioIII, so please get involved! And, we’d really appreciate your help getting the word out – so if you can, tweet it out, and let your followers know!

See you at the future..
